Often those in the recovery community benefit from the shared experiences of others. This commonality can build resilience, greater understanding, and a sense of fellowship.
Despite this commonality, everyone experiencing opioid recovery has their own particular path. The personal journey of recovery is a one-of-a-kind experience. Gender, race, age, ethnicity, religion, resources, sexual orientation and culture can often influence their unique path.
